Description:
Kodo millets Vermicelli are rich in carbohydrates, proteins, and dietary fibres. They contain vitamins such as niacin, riboflavin, and minerals such as calcium and phosphorus. Additionally, they boast phytochemicals like antioxidants and phenolic compounds such as vanillic acid, gallic acid, tannins, ferulic acid, and more.
Method of Preparation
- Roast the vermicelli and keep it separtely. Add chanadal, jeera, curry leaves, coriander leaves, groundnut to hot oil. Then add chopped onions, other veggies and saute them until brown. Add water in 1:2 proportion (Vermicelli:Water). Boil the water which is with veggies.
- Once it reaches boiling temperature, add roasted vermicelli. Simmer the flame until cooked totally and water is absorbed. Garnish with corainder leaves, grated carrot and serve hot.
